Brandon Ingram has one year left on his five-year max deal with the New Orleans Pelicans, signed in 2020. Trade rumors have surrounded him since before last season’s trade deadline.

If Ingram stays with New Orleans, it won’t be on another max deal. The Pelicans reportedly aren’t interested in a max extension, which would be four years and about $208.5 million through 2028-29. Without an extension, Ingram will become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2025.
