Chicago Bulls points guard Lonzo Ball, who hopes to return to action next season after missing more than two years, named his top five defenders in the NBA.

He went with San Antonio Spurs rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama, Minnesota Timberwolves’ Jaden McDaniels, Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat, his Bulls teammate Alex Caruso, and Boston Celtics’ Jrue Holiday.

At first Ball named Lu Dort of the Oklahoma City Thunder on the his list, but immediately replaced him with Holiday.

This year’s All-NBA Defensive First Team included two of Ball’s picks – Wembanyama and Adebayo. The others were Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert, Herbert Jones of the New Orleans Pelicans, and Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis
