Former NBA All-Star center Dwight Howard is making a return to Taiwan, this time suiting up for the Taiwan Mustangs in the upcoming Asian Tournament.

Howard, who clinched the NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020, brings a wealth of experience to the Mustangs lineup.

Having previously played for the Taoyuan Leopards, Howard is no stranger to Taiwanese basketball.

Howard’s partnership with fellow big man Samuel Deguara, known as the “Twin Towers,” is set to be a formidable force on the court.

The Asian Tournament’s third stop, scheduled for July 1st in Zhengzhou, China, will mark Howard’s debut with the Taiwan Mustangs.
