Evan Fournier is prioritizing staying in the NBA rather than returning to Europe. Rumors had linked him to Olympiacos in Greece or ASVEL in France.

The Detroit Pistons hold a $19 million team option for Fournier but are expected to decline it, making him an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Fournier plans to play for France in the 2024 Summer Olympics and will likely have his NBA future settled before then. He has played for the Nuggets, Magic, Celtics, Knicks, and Pistons in his 12-year NBA career.
