Caitlin Clark’s transition to the WNBA hasn’t been seamless, but she’s proving her mettle. Despite a slow start in her latest game, she rallied with clutch plays, nearly securing a triple-double. Her performance drew attention from a packed arena, showcasing her growing fame. Later, Clark reflected on the challenges of newfound celebrity.

“Honestly, I feel like I talked to the media more than I talk to my own family. No, I’m being dead serious, and it’s really kind of sad in a way. It’s a lot for someone who is 22-years-old, it can be tough at times. Our team is very young. It’s difficult [at times], I absolutely love playing basketball and I wouldn’t change it for the world,” Clark told reporters after the game.

“I think just getting off social media has been the healthiest thing as this is my job, this is what I love to do, I never want to lose the fun of the game. And nights like tonight remind me why I love playing basketball, because you get a win, and you walk off the floor and there are so many kids screaming your name that love just watching you play.”

“I think it’s the little things that remind me every single day why I do this and why I love it,” Clark admitted.
