The Dallas Mavericks have their sights set on drafting Bronny James, the son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, in the upcoming NBA Draft, according to reports.
As reported by Marc Stein on Substack, sources indicate that the Mavericks are interested in selecting Bronny with the 58th overall pick, although they acknowledge the slim chances of him still being available at that point.
Despite the Mavericks’ interest, Bronny is expected to be drafted earlier, with many projections placing him as the likely pick for the Los Angeles Lakers at No. 55.
Although there is widespread belief that LeBron will re-sign with the Lakers in the offseason, there is a small hope for other teams to lure him by drafting Bronny.
