LeBron James holds the cards for the next season as he has a player option in his contract, valued at $51 million.

The four-time NBA champion has until June 29 to opt in. Despite the contractual uncertainty, the overall view is that James will opt out and re-sign with the Lakers.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green holds a similar view. While admitting that LeBron’s decision is not known, Green expects him to remain a Laker.

“I don’t quite see him leaving L.A. Just don’t really see it. Just my opinion. But we shall see what happens with that,” Green said on The Draymond Green Show.
