Following the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Game 5 loss in the Western Conference semifinals, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green expressed doubt about the Wolves’ belief in their ability to win.

Green’s observation came during a segment of Inside The NBA, where he remarked, “When you lose the belief… it’s over. They don’t believe they can win anymore, which means this series is over.”

In Game 5, Nikola Jokic demonstrated MVP-caliber performance with an exceptional 40-point display, propelling the Denver Nuggets to a commanding 112-97 victory over the Timberwolves.

Jokic’s remarkable performance, accompanied by 13 assists and precise ball control, brought the Nuggets one step closer to securing a spot in the Western Conference finals.

As the series transitions back to Minnesota for Game 6, the Timberwolves find themselves in a must-win scenario to prolong their postseason journey and force a decisive Game 7.
