NBA legend Charles Barkley expressed bewilderment over the Boston Celtics’ inconsistent performance at home, particularly in postseason games.

Despite boasting top-tier talent and finishing atop the Eastern Conference this season, the Celtics find themselves tied 1-1 with the Miami Heat in their first-round series after dropping Game 2 on their home court.

Even though Boston dominated in Game 1, Barkley pointed out that they allowed for Miami to reduce a 34-point lead to just 12 points, which he saw as a sign that something is wrong.

Over the last four postseasons, the Celtics have maintained a puzzling 13-13 record at home, raising questions about their ability to capitalize on home-court advantage.

“You have to say to yourself what the hell is going on when those guys play at home? And I’m not even talking about tonight, but the talent they have for the last 4-5 years to be .500 at home is something I don’t even know how to explain that to be honest with you,” Barkley said on Inside The NBA.
