Michael Wallace of Grind City Media reports that GG Jackson continues to solidify his position as a crucial asset for the future of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Despite being selected at No. 45 in the 2023 draft and starting the season with a two-way contract, Jackson has been making significant strides.

Over his last seven games, he has been averaging 23.6 points per game while shooting 37.3% from beyond the arc on 9.6 three-point attempts per game. This includes a career-best performance of 35 points on Wednesday.

Desmond Bane commented on Jackson’s progress, stating, “We always knew it wasn’t a talent thing for him – it’s about carrying yourself as a pro each and every day.”

Bane also highlighted the supportive environment within the Grizzlies’ locker room, emphasizing that Jackson has been making the most of the opportunity to learn from experienced players.

“He’s got a lot of great people to learn from in our locker room, and he’s taking full advantage of it.“
