In a thrilling matchup that saw the Houston Rockets (34-35) secure their seventh consecutive victory, Jock Landale delivered a playful yet pointed message to teammate Dillon Brooks after a heated on-court incident.

During the Rockets’ 127-117 win over the Chicago Bulls (34-36), tempers flared when DeMar DeRozan’s foul on Jalen Green led to a scuffle, resulting in ejections for both DeRozan and Brooks.

Reflecting on the incident in a postgame interview, Landale humorously urged Brooks to maintain his composure on the court, emphasizing the team’s reliance on his physical presence.

“Dillon Brooks if you’re listening this ain’t Memphis man. Stop getting yourself ejected. We need you out here. We need that physicality,” Landale said with a smile.

The Rockets’ winning streak, fueled by strong performances from Green and his teammates, has propelled them into playoff contention.
