Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers have not reached an agreement on a contract extension, even though it has been over two months since Kawhi Leonard signed his extension. Leonard accepted a deal worth $10 million less than his maximum potential.

According to sources from Marc Stein of The Stein Line, the Philadelphia 76ers are keenly interested in acquiring George if he becomes available in free agency. The Sixers are expected to have sufficient cap space to offer George a maximum contract.

However, it is widely believed that George’s preference is to stay with the Clippers.
