Denver Nuggets’ superstar Nikola Jokic shared his admiration for Kyrie Irving’s game-winning shot that secured a crucial victory for the Dallas Mavericks against the defending champions.

In a thrilling finale, Irving drove to the basket and unleashed a 20-foot left-handed floater over Jokic to beat the buzzer, clinching a 107-105 win for Dallas.

Reflecting on Irving’s remarkable shot, Jokic acknowledged the difficulty of the play but expressed confidence that if anyone could make it, it would be Irving.

“Yeah, it was the same action that they have run before in the game, with the continuation of Kyrie coming from the corner. I mean Kyrie made a really tough shot. If anyone could make that shot, it was him. I was surprised, but also kind of not. He can make that shot for sure,” Jokic said after the game, per Grant Afseth.
