In a much-needed turnaround, Kyle Kuzma led the Washington Wizards (10-53) to a crucial 112-100 win over the Charlotte Hornets (15-48), ending their 16-game losing streak.

Kuzma scored team-high 28 points along with eight rebounds and nine assists, spearheading the Wizards’ offensive charge, supported by Deni Avdija’s solid contribution of 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Despite a strong effort from the Hornets’ Miles Bridges, who recorded 32 points and 12 rebounds, Charlotte’s struggles continued as they extended their losing streak to six games. Brandon Miller added 21 points and six rebounds, while Vasilije Micic contributed 14 points.

Both teams faced challenges with injuries, with key players sidelined, including LaMelo Ball for the Hornets and Marvin Bagley III for the Wizards.
