The Atlanta Hawks are parting ways with guard Patty Mills, whom they acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder in a trade involving the Brooklyn Nets.
In his limited role with Atlanta, Mills averaged 2.7 points in 10.6 minutes per game across 19 appearances.
With a vacant roster spot, the Hawks are converting Trent Forrest from his two-way deal to a standard contract.
Forrest has exhausted his allowed 50 NBA games under the two-way contract and has been ineligible to play recently.
Over the past two seasons, Forrest has appeared in 43 games with Atlanta under two-way contracts.
