Terry Roberts, a guard for the Long Island Nets, was shot in the upper chest during a gunfight outside a bar in Philadelphia on Sunday morning.

Fortunately, he survived the incident and is anticipated to recover. The Long Island Nets and local police confirmed that a stray bullet struck the 23-year-old player during the altercation.

“Terry Roberts was the victim of a crime on Sunday morning in Philadelphia, and we are in the process of gathering more information about the incident,” the G-League team said in a statement.

“He is currently in stable condition, and he is expected to make a full recovery. Our thoughts are with him and family at this time. Due to the ongoing law enforcement investigation, we will have no further comment.”
