Mike Conley contends that Rudy Gobert’s influence on the game is comparable to superstars like LeBron James and Stephen Curry, despite not receiving the same recognition.

Conley acknowledges that Gobert may not showcase offensive prowess similar to LeBron and Steph, but he asserts that Gobert’s impact is equally significant.

Opponents strategize specifically for Gobert, acknowledging his game-changing presence on the court, even if it may not align with traditional perceptions of superstar performances.

“I think he’s not treated like a superstar because he doesn’t do the superstar things, offensively, that LeBron and Steph do. But he has the same impact on a game. People gameplan for him like they gameplan for others,” Conley said.
