San Antonio Spurs rookie standout, Victor Wembanyama, extolled the defensive prowess of his teammate Jeremy Sochan, emphasizing the sophomore’s remarkable abilities on the court.

Wembanyama expressed his admiration for Sochan’s defensive capabilities, highlighting the rarity of players with such skill in the league.

He noted, “Oh, yeah. You can count on your fingers how many guys can guard like him in this league. He is such a great asset and he is just a sophomore. He has so much more to show,” as reported by Tom Orsborn.

Despite being in just his second year in the league, Sochan has already made a significant impact with his defensive presence on the court.

This season he is averaging 11.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 26 minutes per game. Sochan has proven himself to be a versatile asset for the Spurs.
