Spencer Dinwiddie provided insight into his preference for joining the Los Angeles Lakers over the Dallas Mavericks, using a metaphorical comparison.

He likened the decision to a scenario where a kid faces a bully, explaining that Dallas would be like a comforting mother saying, “It’s OK, baby,” while the Lakers represent a more assertive father insisting, “Nah, you better go out there and fight ’til you win.”

Dinwiddie joins the Lakers after averaging 12.6 points and 6.0 assists per game this season for Brooklyn.
