Portland Trail Blazers guard Malcolm Brogdon finds himself at the center of trade speculation as the deadline looms, with several teams expressing interest, including the Los Angeles Lakers.

Brogdon, acquired by the Blazers in the offseason, remains steadfast in his focus despite the swirling trade rumors. “I’m honestly not even focused on (the trade deadline), as crazy as that sounds. All I can focus on is staying healthy, playing good basketball here in Portland,” he stated, per Casey Holdahl.

The 31-year-old guard’s steady play and veteran leadership make him an attractive asset for contending teams seeking backcourt reinforcements.

This season Brogdon is averaging 15.7 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.8 rebounds in 28.7 minutes per game this season.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Brogdon remains committed to making a positive impact with the Blazers for as long as he’s in Portland.
