Jimmy Butler led the Miami Heat (26-23) to a 110-102 victory over the Washington Wizards (9-39), scoring 24 points alongside Bam Adebayo’s double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds.
Tyler Herro and Terry Rozier added 15 points each. Rozier was perfect 11-for-11 from the free-throw line.
Corey Kispert’s season-high 26 points for the Wizards couldn’t prevent them losing. He was supported by Jordan Poole (16 points, 10 assists) and Deni Avdija (15 points, 8 rebounds).
Kevin Love’s impactful 13 points and 10 rebounds in just 15 minutes further bolstered Miami’s dominance.
