Orlando Magic power forward Paolo Banchero recently had great things to say about his World Cup experience/working out with Kevin Durant.

“I think the World Cup helped me a lot, because it helped me work on things that I wouldn’t never get a chance to work on. Coming off the bench and playing a different role I kind of got to do a lot more different things that with the Magic I’m not, which is different. I got to kind of see the game through a different lens, help other guys out, tell them what I’m seeing, and just being around that environment was big. And then working out with K, that was huge for me just seeing how he goes about his work every single day, how much he pays attention to just the attention to detail. How hard he goes day in and day out I think really inspired me, because at his point in his career he could definitely just be cool with where he’s at, but he attacks every day like he’s trying to get better. So definitely showed me something, and I look forward to hopefully getting back in the lab.”
