Doc Rivers, succeeding the dismissed Adrian Griffin as the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, is swiftly assembling his coaching team.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Dave Joerger, a seasoned coach with previous stints in Memphis and Sacramento, is a top-level assistant under consideration for a reunion with Rivers in Milwaukee.

Shams Charania, an NBA insider, chimes in with the news that Joerger is finalizing a deal to become part of Doc Rivers’ coaching staff with the Milwaukee Bucks. The former Grizzlies and Kings head coach is set to bring his wealth of experience to Rivers’ coaching ensemble.

In another tweet, Wojnarowski reveals that Rivers is adding Rex Kalamian, a longtime NBA assistant who has been scouting with the Nets this season, to his coaching staff. Kalamian is expected to join forces with Joerger in Rivers’ revamped coaching lineup for the Bucks.

As Rivers takes charge in Milwaukee, the addition of Joerger and Kalamian signifies a strategic move to bolster the coaching staff with seasoned professionals.
