San Antonio Spurs staff have been instructed not to contact rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama after 9:30 pm. This directive is due to the French player’s strict evening routine, which includes dedicating an hour to reading before bedtime.
The detail was shared by Spurs’ director of basketball communications, Jordan Howenstine, with The Athletic.
“That’s when he reads for an hour,” Howenstine explained. “Then he goes to sleep.”
Following his nightly reading, the 2023 No. 1 overall pick, Victor Wembanyama, typically retires to bed around 10:30 pm, as reported.
