In a game that drew attention for the clash between rookies Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stole the spotlight, recording 32 points and 10 assists to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder (31-13) to a commanding 140-114 win over the San Antonio Spurs (8-36).

Despite the focus on the matchup between Wembanyama and Holmgren, Gilgeous-Alexander’s all-around brilliance, along with Holmgren’s 17 points and nine rebounds, propelled the Thunder to their fourth consecutive victory.

Wembanyama showcased his skills with 24 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks, four assists, and a steal, engaging in a fierce battle with Holmgren throughout the game.

Despite Wembanyama’s efforts, the Thunder’s balanced attack proved overwhelming for the Spurs, with six players scoring in double figures and Aaron Wiggins adding 22 points.

Devin Vassell had 21 points, but San Antonio struggled from beyond the arc, converting only 9 of 32 attempts.
