In a spectacular offensive showcase, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown teamed up to score a total of 69 points, propelling the Boston Celtics (28-7) to a commanding 118-101 victory over the Indiana Pacers (20-15) on Saturday night. This win snapped the Pacers’ six-game winning streak.

Tatum notched 38 points, including a season-high eight 3-pointers, and secured 13 rebounds along with six assists. Brown complemented the effort with a stellar 31-point contribution.

Kristaps Porzingis played only six minutes before leaving the game due to an eye laceration.

Bennedict Mathurin was Indiana’s top scorer with 20 points off the bench. Tyrese Ghaliburton added 17 points, seven assists, six rebounds and five steals.

The Celtics, known for their defensive prowess, lived up to their reputation, limiting the Pacers to a season-low point total.
