Struggling with offensive performance, Andrew Wiggins, a key player for the Golden State Warriors, finds himself in an unexpected bench role, courtesy of head coach Steve Kerr.

The recent move by Kerr to demote Wiggins from the starting lineup surprised the 2022 NBA champion, who acknowledges the need to earn back his place through persistent effort.

“I’m blessed to be here… If I want to get out of this little doghouse, I got to just keep fighting my way out,” Wiggins said after a 25-point performance against the Trail Blazers, via ClutchPoints.

In the ongoing season, the 28-year-old Wiggins is grappling with career-low averages, contributing 12 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game in an average of 26.7 minutes on the court.
