Former NBA center DeMarcus Cousins, at 33, embarks on a fresh basketball journey as he signs with the T1 League’s Taiwan Beer Leopards, according to Focus Taiwan.

He is expected to make his on-court debut on January 20, hailing the addition of the four-time NBA All-Star as a significant boost for both the competitiveness of the Taiwan Beer Leopards and the broader landscape of Taiwanese basketball.

Cousins, a seasoned NBA veteran, last played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season as a member of the Denver Nuggets.

Following his NBA stint, he ventured to Puerto Rico’s Baloncesto Superior Nacional league, joining the Guaynabo Mets in the previous season.
