Joel Embiid’s dominant performance with 35 points led the Philadelphia 76ers (17-7) to a resounding 124-92 victory over the struggling Detroit Pistons (2-23).

Embiid, who scored 41 points in the previous matchup, continued his stellar form, adding 13 rebounds for his ninth consecutive double-double.

The reigning league MVP showcased his offensive prowess, contributing not only in scoring but also with four blocks on the defensive end.

James Wiseman led the Pistons with 20 points, while Bojan Bogdanovic added 17. Former Piston Tobias Harris scored 13 points for the 76ers, and Marcus Morris Sr. contributed 15 points off the bench.

The Pistons faced defensive challenges and committed 21 turnovers, the second-highest total of the season.

Tensions lingered from the previous matchup, particularly between Isaiah Stewart and Patrick Beverley. While the pre-game warm-ups featured verbal exchanges, the on-court conflict remained subdued, with only technical fouls assessed to Stewart and Embiid for exchanging words during free throws.
