Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole combined for 61 points, propelling the Washington Wizards (4-20) to a 137-123 victory over the Indiana Pacers (13-10) and breaking a six-game losing streak.

The Wizards secured only their second win in the last 17 games, with the other victory coming against the struggling Detroit team with 22 consecutive losses.

Kuzma’s 31 points and Poole’s 30, along with Tyus Jones’ triple-double (13 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds), were instrumental in the Wizards’ much-needed triumph.

Jordan Poole reached his season-high 30 points by the end of the third quarter, displaying efficiency with 12 of 18 field goals and contributing eight assists. Corey Kispert added 23 points to Washington’s scoring efforts.

Despite a strong performance from Tyrese Haliburton with 19 points and 11 assists for the Pacers, his departure with a left knee contusion raised uncertainties about his availability for the next game.

Washington maintained control throughout the game, leading by as many as 24 points. Rookie Bilal Coulibaly showcased promise with 17 points, including a one-handed dunk in the first quarter.
