On Friday, the Toronto Raptors announced that they had released Ron Harper Jr., a two-way guard-forward. The team’s roster comprises 15 players, including two on two-way contracts.

During his time with the Raptors, Harper Jr. averaged 2.0 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 5.2 minutes in 10 games, having joined as an undrafted free agent before the 2022-23 season. Additionally, he played in 49 games with Raptors 905, contributing with averages of 16.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 32.3 minutes.

Unfortunately, Harper Jr. will be undergoing season-ending surgery next week due to a left shoulder subluxation sustained while playing for Raptors 905 in a game against Long Island on December 7.
