
After a tough loss in overtime to Partizan Mozzart Bet at the beginning of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague double week, AS Monaco made a comeback with a hard-fought 79-83 victory in Kaunas.
Mike James, now third in all-time scoring ahead of Juan Carlos Navarro, played a pivotal role in the win with 25 points.
He also secured the third spot in the all-time list for Performance Index Rating (PIR), surpassing his former teammate Kyle Hines, with a PIR of 26.
Alpha Diallo contributed significantly with 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists, achieving a PIR of 24. Jaron Blossomgame added 13 points, and Elie Okobo chipped in with 12 for the triumphant team.
“A lot of heart, a lot of hustle, we fought hard. You got to get wins on the road somewhere, we got one tonight,” Mike James said after the match.
