The Washington Wizards have released John Butler Jr. Butler had a two-way contract with both the Wizards and the G League’s Capital City Go-Go.

Despite being signed, Butler didn’t play any games with the Wizards this season.

During his time in the G League, the 7-foot center put up an average of 7.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks in 10 games, playing for about 22.5 minutes per game.
