In a high-scoring showdown, Paolo Banchero showcased his skills with a career-high 42 points for the Orlando Magic (14-7), but it wasn’t enough as the Cleveland Cavaliers (12-9), led by Donovan Mitchell’s 35 points and Darius Garland’s 26, secured a 121-111 victory.

The 2022 Rookie of the Year displayed his scoring prowess by going 16 of 26 from the field, becoming the second-youngest player in Magic history to score 40 points, trailing only Shaquille O’Neal.

While the Magic trailed by as much as 23 points in the first half, they rallied in the fourth quarter, narrowing the gap to 106-98 during a 12-2 run.
