The Boston Celtics faced a setback in their quest for the inaugural In-Season Tournament title, losing to the Indiana Pacers in the quarterfinals and missing out on a trip to the semifinals in Las Vegas.

Despite the disappointment, Celtics star Jaylen Brown, who contributed 30 points in the defeat, maintained a lighthearted perspective on the outcome.

Expressing a humorous take on the situation, Brown remarked, via Jay King, “It’s unfortunate for us we’re not going to Vegas, but I guess we’ll have to settle for Encore in Boston,” alluding to the luxury hotel and casino in the city.

This light-hearted comment from Brown goes well with his earlier skepticism about the new In-Season Tournament.
