At the beginning of the 2023/24 season for the New York Knicks forward RJ Barrett, marked by a promising start, faced a setback due to migraines, causing him to sit out three games.

As he strives to recapture his previous level of performance, Zach Braziller of The New York Post notes that the 23-year-old is currently shooting at a rate of only 34.4% from the field and 25.0% from long distance in the past seven games.

“Having a week where you don’t play, it’s not ideal,” Barrett said. “But at the end of the day, I’ve also had a [few] weeks where I’ve been playing. No excuses; I’m kind of getting back to it.”
