The Los Angeles Clippers scripted a jaw-dropping turnaround, snatching a thrilling victory from the jaws of defeat against the Golden State Warriors. Despite trailing by a substantial 22-point margin, the Clippers found their rhythm when it mattered the most.
Paul George emerged as the catalyst for the Clippers’ resurgence, delivering a clutch stepback 3-pointer that propelled them to their first and decisive lead—a mere 9.2 seconds that etched their name on the scoreboard.
George’s performance included 25 points, six rebounds, and six assists, solidifying his pivotal role in orchestrating this remarkable comeback.
After the game George pointed at Warriors’ lack of rim protection when talking about the Clippers’ comeback from being down 22 points.
“They don’t have a rim protector. Our advantage is we have size. We have wings that can get to the basket. That’s been our game plan, to get to the rim and find shooters on kick-outs,” George said, per Monte Poole.
