Devin Booker’s triumphant return from a sprained right ankle, delivering 34 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, coupled with Kevin Durant’s 27 points, propelled the Phoenix Suns (12-8) to a 116-109 victory against the Memphis Grizzlies (5-14) on Saturday night.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with a season-high 37 points, displaying resilience against tough defense, particularly from the Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic.

Memphis, missing Derrick Rose (left ankle sprain) and Ziaire Williams (illness), fought hard but couldn’t overcome the dynamic duo of Booker and Durant.

Nurkic, coming off a season-high performance, contributed 14 points and nine rebounds before fouling out in the closing minutes.

The Suns, without Eric Gordon due to a right knee contusion, bounced back from two consecutive losses after their seven-game winning streak.

The Grizzlies, on the other hand, had won their previous two games, including a road victory against Dallas on Friday.
