In the Denver Nuggets’ recent victory over the Phoenix Suns, Nikola Jokic, despite a relatively modest 21-point scoring performance, showcased his exceptional playmaking skills by delivering a staggering 16 assists.

Kevin Durant, who contributed 30 points to the Suns’ efforts and concurrently achieved a milestone by securing the 10th spot on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, shared insights into Jokic’s pivotal role in the Nuggets’ gameplay.

“He gets the ball every time down. He’s a great passer, and they move around him a lot. He’s the hub to them, so when they throw him the ball, he’s not looking to score every time,” Durant said, per Duane Rankin.
