Franz Wagner delivered a stellar performance, scoring a season-high 31 points, guiding the Orlando Magic to their eighth consecutive victory with a commanding 139-120 win over the struggling Washington Wizards (3-15). Jalen Suggs complemented the feat with a season-best 22 points.

Orlando showcased their offensive prowess, led by the dynamic trio of Wagner, Suggs, and Cole Anthony, who contributed 25 points off the bench.

The Magic’s win streak now stands just one shy of the franchise record set in 1994 and equaled twice in the 21st century.

In contrast, the struggling Wizards couldn’t halt Orlando’s momentum, losing 10 of their last 11 games. Kyle Kuzma led Washington with 24 points, while Deni Avdija and Jordan Poole added 22 and 19 points, respectively. However, they failed to keep pace with the Magic in the second half.

Paolo Banchero managed only six points and four turnovers before leaving the game in the third quarter due to an ankle injury.

The Magic and the Wizards are set to clash again on Friday in Orlando, providing another opportunity for Orlando to extend their winning streak.
