Crvena Zvezda’s president, Nebojsa Covic, has essentially invited Filip Petrusev to rejoin the club after the player was released by the Sacramento Kings.
Petrusev is leaning towards returning to the EuroLeague with Olympiacos Piraeus, and Covic has acknowledged the offer extended by the Greek team to the player.
“I heard about it and that Olympiacos made a very decent offer,” Covic said, per Mozzart. “The door of Red Star is open for Petrusev now but it’s his and his agent’s decision. We’ll let them decide. There won’t be any hard feelings, regardless of this decision.”
