Despite a stellar 36-point performance by Zach LaVine, the Chicago Bulls (5-12) faced defeat against the Toronto Raptors (8-8), losing 121-108 in the NBA’s In-Season Tournament.

O.G. Anunoby led the Raptors with a season-high 26 points, supported by Pascal Siakam’s 18, as Toronto secured the win and eliminated the Bulls from tournament contention.

Dennis Schroder contributed 17 points, Gary Trent Jr. added 16, Jakob Poeltl notched a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Scottie Barnes recorded 13 points and 10 rebounds in Toronto’s well-rounded offensive effort.

Despite LaVine’s impressive 36-point display, the Bulls fell to 0-3 in the tournament and have lost three straight games and six of their last seven.

Alex Caruso of the Bulls left the game in the third quarter and did not return, impacting Chicago’s defensive presence.

Former Raptor DeMar DeRozan, with 19 points, faced frustration and an ejection in the closing moments of the game after receiving his second technical foul.
