The Toronto Raptors delivered one of their most efficient offensive performances of the season, defeating the Chicago Bulls 139-109 on Wednesday night at the United Center.

Toronto improved to 39-29 and secured its third consecutive win, strengthening its position in the middle of the Eastern Conference playoff race with a commanding road victory.

RJ Barrett led the way with 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting, setting the tone early as the Raptors established control with pace and shot-making. Brandon Ingram added 18 points on a perfect 6-for-6 start from the field, consistently exploiting gaps in Chicago’s defense.

The visitors emphasized ball movement and spacing, finishing with 33 assists while shooting 57% from the field and 42% from three-point range.

Toronto’s depth played a central role, with seven players scoring in double figures and constant pressure applied across all lineups. Scottie Barnes contributed 18 points and seven rebounds, while Ja’Kobe Walter matched him with 18 points off the bench.

Jakob Poeltl anchored the interior with 17 points and eight rebounds, providing efficient finishing around the rim and second-chance opportunities. Sandro Mamukelashvili also added 17 points, helping maintain scoring output when the starters rotated out.

The Raptors built separation early, shooting 60% in the first half to take a 72-45 lead into the break. Barrett scored 14 points before halftime, while Ingram’s flawless shooting stretch prevented any defensive adjustments from slowing Toronto’s rhythm.

Chicago briefly cut the deficit to 12 midway through the second quarter after a three-point play by Collin Sexton. Toronto responded immediately with a 17-2 run, capped by Barrett’s reverse layup, which extended the margin to 70-43 late in the half.

The Bulls struggled to generate consistent offense, shooting 47% overall but just 29% from beyond the arc while committing 19 turnovers. Those mistakes translated into 20 points for the Raptors, highlighting a clear execution gap.

Matas Buzelis led Chicago with 19 points, while Sexton added 14 in his return from a left leg injury. However, the home side failed to find rhythm from its primary playmakers.

Josh Giddey, who entered the game averaging a triple-double over his previous seven contests, was limited to nine points, three assists and zero rebounds. Toronto’s defensive focus disrupted his ability to control tempo and initiate offense.

The Raptors led by as many as 38 points and completed a three-game season sweep of the Bulls, reinforcing their advantage in head-to-head matchups.

Toronto continues its five-game road trip in Denver on Friday, while Chicago will look to regroup at home against Cleveland on Thursday.
