In a game marked by ejections, the Denver Nuggets triumphed 107-103 over the struggling Detroit Pistons, securing their win with a fourth-quarter surge led by Reggie Jackson.

Denver’s head coach, Michael Malone, and Nikola Jokic found themselves ejected after heated disagreements with officials.

Assistant coach David Adelman, stepping in for Malone, lauded the team’s resilience post-game. In a moment of humor, Adelman jokingly credited Jokic’s ejection for the victory.

“I’m most proud of 30 assists. There were some times where it looked extremely ugly, but we kept moving the ball. You kept trying to find the open man. That’s what wins games. Obviously Nikola getting kicked out helped as well,” Adelman said as the locker room erupted with ‘Yeah!’.

Jokic, known for his on-court brilliance and humor, concurred with the sentiment. “Especially [on] defense,” the Serbian superstar said.

Jokic’s ejection might have disrupted the flow, but it inadvertently became a turning point, especially on the defensive end.
