Nikola Jokic is still feeling the disappointment of Serbia’s EuroBasket 2025 campaign, admitting that the experience continues to weigh on him as he prepares for future national team duties.

Speaking about his commitment to Serbia, Jokic acknowledged that the team’s failure at EuroBasket remains on his mind and has strengthened his sense of responsibility as captain.

“Maybe there’s some guilt on my part because of the failure we had,” Jokic said while discussing his decision to participate in qualification games and remain actively involved with the national team.

The three-time NBA MVP has long been one of Serbia’s most important players, helping lead the country to international success in previous tournaments.
