In a showdown against the Sacramento Kings (6-4), the Los Angeles Lakers (6-6), led by LeBron James’ 108th career triple-double, faced a formidable trio of Domantas Sabonis, De’Aaron Fox, and Kevin Huerter, resulting in a 125-110 defeat for the Purple and Gold.

Despite James’ impressive triple-double performance with 28 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds, the Lakers couldn’t overcome the Kings’ balanced attack.

Sabonis’ standout performance with 29 points and 16 rebounds, combined with the scoring prowess of Fox (29 points) and Huerter (28 points), propelled the Kings to their fourth straight victory.

Anthony Davis had a challenging game, managing only nine points on 3-of-9 shooting, marking his worst performance of the season.

The Kings, holding a 106-80 lead early in the fourth quarter, weathered a late Lakers surge led by D’Angelo Russell’s 28 points.

However, the Lakers’ efforts fell short, and the Kings secured their fifth win in six meetings with their downstate rivals.
