The highly anticipated debut of the Phoenix Suns (5-6) superstar trio of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal will have to wait as the latter was absent from the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves (8-3) due to a sore back.

In a dominant display, Booker and Durant combined for 62 points, guiding the Suns to a convincing 133-115, snapping the Timberwolves’ seven-game winning streak.

Booker, returning from a calf injury, and Durant each contributed 31 points, showcasing their offensive prowess.

Phoenix controlled the game, securing a 22-point lead at halftime and extending it to 28 points by the final quarter.

In addition to the dynamic duo of Booker and Durant, the Suns received valuable contributions from Eric Gordon (15 points), Grayson Allen (14 points), and Drew Eubanks (13 points).

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with 25 points on his 28th birthday, but the team struggled with a tough shooting night, making only 18.5% of their 3-point attempts.

Despite playing the second night of a back-to-back following an emotional game against the Golden State Warriors, where an altercation led to ejections and a suspension for Draymond Green, the Timberwolves couldn’t overcome the Suns’ offensive firepower.
