Philadelphia 76ers president Daryl Morey is realistic about the limitations of the package received in the James Harden trade to the Clippers, admitting that landing their dream player is unlikely.
According to Marc Stein’s Substack report, Morey outlined the team’s challenges during an appearance on the Rights to Ricky Sanchez podcast.
“We won’t get our dream guy almost for sure.” Morey emphasized the need for players who excel on both ends of the court, possess playmaking skills, and contribute to ball movement—a crucial aspect in playoff scenarios.
