The Clippers are set to receive star guard James Harden from the Sixers, according to sources close to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The specific details of the trade are still unclear.

This development marks the resolution of the recent saga surrounding Harden’s trade request.

Despite having the option to explore free agency and join a new team, the 10-time All-Star chose to stick with the final season of his $35.6 million contract.

During the summer, he made impactful remarks about Philadelphia team president Daryl Morey while expressing his desire to be traded.

Even though the 34-year-old wasn’t at the peak of his athletic abilities, he continued to showcase his impressive skills while sharing the court with the eventual MVP Joel Embiid.

In 58 regular season games, he maintained an average of 21.0 points per game with shooting percentages of .441/.385/.867.

Additionally, he contributed 10.7 assists, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game.
