In an effort to balance their lineup and spark one of their key players, the Los Angeles Lakers shifted Austin Reaves to a reserve role. Head coach Darvin Ham clarified that this change wasn’t a “demotion” but rather a “realignment.”

Cam Reddish took Reaves’ spot in the starting lineup. The move paid off immediately for the Lakers, who secured a victory against the Phoenix Suns.

Reaves contributed 15 points and seven assists off the bench, while Reddish scored 17 points in the starting position at Phoenix.
